Our Mission

‘We work in partnership with Foster Carers and Local Authorities to enable children and young people to grow, develop and achieve their full potential within a stable, caring family environment.’

SFS is a fostering charity registered with Care Inspectorate Wales (CIW) working closely with local authorities in Wales.

Our Cardiff office offers high levels of support to foster carers and children. We offer the best of both worlds, being small enough to offer a personal, tailor-made service, but large enough to offer the support you need.

There are many different types of fostering so whether you’re a single person, a couple or larger family, a child needs your help.

A weekly allowance is paid for each child. Carers are being recruited in your area right now.

Fostering is a challenging but rewarding experience, and you could help a child or young person reach their full potential. Please enquire about fostering now…

‘Children thrive and achieve positive well-being outcomes within stable and sustainable placements.’ – CIW, 2018
