FOSTERING STORIES

WHAT DO WE DO?

01

Recruiting Parents

We’re recruiting new and existing foster parents across South Wales. We have massive demand from local authorities for our services so urgently need more foster parents.

02

Fast-Track Transfer

We offer a fast-track assessment process and welcome experienced foster parents. Most parents transferring come for great support from a fostering charity.

03

Matching

We recognise the importance of matching the right child with the right foster family. Getting this right from the beginning to achieve the best outcomes for the child.

04

Support

Our social work team have small caseloads to work proactively rather than crisis management. They are available 24/7 to provide the support when it’s needed.

05

Training

Our comprehensive training programme develops skills and foster parents’ knowledge. We aim to empower parents to utilise effective strategies by understanding behaviour.

06

Therapy

Sometimes children need extra support to help them come to terms with their early life experience. As a charity we fund and provide fast-track access to extra services for children including therapy.
